With the dawn of new era of education, as I look back at the previous years, I find that we have successfully completed past three decades since inception of MCLF. More than three decades of our meaningful existence has been period of great achievements and satisfaction with the fact that our pass outs are spread throughout the length and breadth of the country and abroad holding very high positions. Most of the faculty members of the Management and Commerce departments in the University of Kashmir, Central University of Kashmir, IUST, SSM College of Science and Technology, IITM and at various government and private colleges have been our students and thus are the alumni of MCLF. It may be indicated here that most outstanding positions in some corporates like HDFC, J&K bank, Aircel, Airtel and in various administrative departments of the government are manned by students of our institution. At MCLF, it has been our focus to develop business leaders who can tackle challenges of industry and new global business environs. We emphasize on building business leaders of tomorrow and I would like to reinforce that our endeavor is to keep the balance between the education we impart and what the industry and job market requires.
To fulfill this dream, MCLF has taken an initiative of skill development and employability of students by registering this institution with Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India for Modular Employable Skill Short Term Courses.
It is an established fact that skill level and education attainment of the students determine the productivity as well as ability to adopt to the changing industrial environment. Most of our student do not possess marketable skill which is an impediment in getting decent employment and improving their economic condition. We at MCLF impart education in management, commerce and science disciplines as also add to their life skills by organizing various vocational and skill development courses under the Directorate General of Employment and Training, Ministry of Labor and Employment and Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India. It may be stated here that teaching is one of the noblest professions in the world. I personally believe that there is no substitute to quality education as it helps in changing the lives of thousands of individuals and their families for all times to come. More importantly, it is most critical to the growth of nation especially for the State of J&K which is lagging in many spheres of life. This is precisely the idea behind our tag line- “we are the best in education, that is, we build better nation through knowledge, skill and value-based education”.
I wish to take this opportunity as a CEO of this organization to thank all my team members for their valuable contribution to the development and growth of this organization over the years.
I pray to Allah Almighty to bless us all and give us enough strength to touch more heights and pinnacles of success in the years to come…Ameen.
